The who harvested the reported harvesting "a large animal," the said in a Tues press release. Genetic tests confirmed the animal was a .

The hunter was participating in a legal & was accompanied by a guide. He said he believed the animal to be a large . The wolf weighed 84 lbs [that’d be a huge coyote], while Eastern coyotes typically weigh 25-40 lbs, the DNR said.

Where are my fellow & ppl? Does anyone know if this could possibly be a burrow? I've heard of them, but never seen a multi-entrance arrangement like this. Can't figure out (1) if the tunnels are big enough for the coyotes I see around here--seems doubtful, (2) what else could need something that size, (3) if it's for coyotes, why the heck doesn't it flood? Puzzled, but it's located right where I often see some hanging around. 🤷‍♀️

I just (almost) saw a on my deck. I’ve got a couple bird feeders out there, and a bird bath. I turned on the light & opened the door to add water to the bath, like every night. I heard a thump, and scrambling scratches and anther thump. One of the feeders was swinging in the dark (it’s night here) and then I saw movement about 30 yards away and I thought at first, a raccoon, but it was too lanky and long-legged and bushy-tailed for that. So either a fox or young . Either’s possible.

I passed a running through the neighborhood on the way to the barn this morning. I just wanted to hug him and tell him sorry that my home probably replaced his home ☹️🐾

Any experts out there?

Was talking about how grapes are a neurotoxin for dogs that can cause renal failure, and it came up that they’ve seen Coyotes eating them.

I was wondering if that is something they process differently than domesticated dogs?

An electrical appliance in our kitchen refused to work for several days.

When all attempts to fix it had failed, we somewhat reluctantly acknowledged the presence of the Trickster archetype, which has the power to disrupt or ‘overthrow programs’ (according to Jung and Campbell).

The appliance now works.

Caution: Individual results may vary, (as they say on TV).

I posted a pic I took of Yosemite Valley from Glacier Point the other day... While we were up at the Point, there was also this pretty coyote hanging out. I think he was hoping for handouts so maybe his plan of eating roadrunners wasn't working out. Still, I'm calling him a good boi.

Cats are a major food source for urban coyotes in Southern California according to a study conducted by National Park Service and California State University Northridge (CSUN).

"Cat remains were found in 20 percent of urban coyote scat as compared to four percent of suburban coyote scat."

For my first &Crow game there were a few ruling mistakes made. I'm running C&C with a new crew tonight and I def feel that we'll be moving faster than before. I can't wait to see what everyone does with the system!
