I totally love what the is able to see, such as this new and exciting image of the Horsehead Nebula, where you can see loads of galaxies.

Absolutely amazing!

The image from even contains a very detailled description, and metadata in the AVM format, which my NeoFinder for macOS software of course catalogs, displays, and allows you to search.

Fascinating!

Can anyone explain to me:

  1. Is it an coinstance that the sun and moon have the same relative size seen from earth so the moon can block the light from the sun during but not the .
  2. Why does the eclipse last up to 4 minutes when the eclipse is so accurate. In my mind the sunlight should dissapeare on on side of the moon and right after appear on the other side.

@Pepijn - Here's a of the set 42179 doing a full year!

It has accurate turning of the and (day), the earth & system turning around the sun (year), the moon around earth (month) and earths axial tilt (seasons).

It's honestly awesome. One of the most enjoyable technic builds ever. A highly recommended set.

The Skystone is a boulder in Bonney Lake, state. It was deposited approximately 13,000 years ago. It has over 20 pits pounded into its surface, presumably by members of the tribe. The holes seem to point towards both and geographic features. More: https://www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=58988

Did you know that has a door?

The cathedral built in the 14th century, houses an .

The original clockwork was greased with animal fat, which attracted vermin.

To combat this, the allowed a cat to enter the clock room via a in the door.

This hole is also believed to be the origin of the nursery rhyme “Hickory Dickory Dock” (…the mouse ran up the clock…).

There's a part of me that's always wanted to be able to #travel the #universe, but in an #Earth-like timeframe, not an #astronomical one.

But there've been recent #movies and images from #soacecraft that, even more than Dave's end in #2001ASpaceOdyssey, have added a level of fear that has really dampened my previous enthusiasm.

It's the #navigation that I realize is overwhelming, even just in our #SolarSystem. #Space agencies are amazing.

This #video doesn't help 😬
