I've finally put together my full love story with @SparkToro, the content I've made about them, and all of my shoutouts about their software and their team. 💜 💛 💙
If you're wondered why I like this software so much... this is your answer.
This post is the culmination of 9 months of engagement, hard work, and sincere passion. I hope you enjoy.
#YouTube’s algorithm has been “off” the past couple of months.
As a viewer, I constantly see recommended videos that are from hyper specific niches that have zero overlap with my interests or watch history.
As a #creator, I hate looking at my #analytics. My videos get suggested for completely irrelevant audiences and it tanks my reach because obviously nobody clicks.
This #video actually explains the whole situation fairly well:
I spoke about superfans, why #B2B companies should want to create and develop relationships with their biggest fans, and why those fans might become their biggest #marketing and #sales advantage.
I also shared a personal love story between me, the superfan, and @SparkToro, my favorite B2B company.
Announcement - I'm giving a talk at the B2B Sales and Marketing Exchange conference in Boston on August 9th!
I'll be giving an extended and updated version of my superfans talk, explaining why #B2B business should be finding, nurturing, and encouraging their biggest fans. If you're in #marketing and around Boston that week, come say hello!
Marketers: my number-one tip for making a cold approach to a prospect is DON’T DO IT. If you’re going to, anyhow, my number-two tip is: Do not pretend it’s a warm approach.
Tip number three? If I ignored your first cold email, don’t send a second one that pretends like we’re in a conversation or that I owe you my availability for a call.
If you did your homework on me and sent 100 emails, but I’ve never replied, email number 101 is still a cold call.
