Vielleicht ergibt sich hierüber ja was :)

Some first on how , being fundamentally different than and , may focus on the interfaces, formation of and relationships.

Businesses understand forging and maintaining relationships. They work well (though involving of course).

Not so when it comes to F2B. Then FOSS is just grabbed, like ore from a mine.

There can be no "supply chain" that way. Proper mutual value exchange is needed for that.

The interesting thing about the EU's Digital Markets Act is that it's "we're just going to treat all the biggest American tech companies as monopolies" as a law. It's both unprecedented and amazing that the Biden administration sleepwalked into it.

This is like the EU's version of the TikTok divestment law but killing multiple birds with one stone.

Here's a pretty good (IMO) b2b tip to help your sales team utilize your SEO learnings.

With a business, one way you can apply learnings is by researching trends in queries (seasonality, news-related events, etc), learning how those are impacting actual businesses that would be potential customers, and sharing that among the teams.

That's just one way SEO can help directly support b2b sales.

@maxleibman@mastodon.social avatar

Look. B2B sales is hard. I get it.

But sending an out-of-the-blue meeting invitation to a cold lead is the wrong move, ONE-HUNDRED PERCENT of the time.

Don’t do this. Don’t ever do this.

It’s not chutzpah. It’s not being a go-getter. It is NOT standard practice, either for corporate sales in general or your industry in particular. It is sure as fuck neither taking the initiative nor being proactive.

It’s being an arrogant asshole. Every time.

Don’t.

I’ve had a strange career trajectory.

In one year, I went from an unknown new face to a decently well-connected insider of the world.

All of you on Mastodon have seen me live out this journey in real-time. But if you did have questions on how the heck I managed it… here are the answers.

As I tell Ramli in this : my secret is simply liking people. And enjoying connections with cool folks who do awesome work. No more.

Something SAAS companies should take into account but don’t: your company name should be unique and not just a generic word like “front.” That way users of your software can use web search more effectively without getting the generic results about whatever real world thing they named their company after.

can only get away with it cause it was founded pre-internet and they’re huge.

More insight / perspective here:

The scenario being:
A business getting its own instance on its own domain for webcare and news.

Specifically asking about commercial organisations:

  • not semi-public organisations because they are already present here.
  • not brands trying to register at other peoples instance which is foolish.

Welp, looks like Ublock Origin is over... YT now detects it and harasses your ass to try & give up your safety/comfort just so they can throw malicious ads down your throat.

And no, I won't stop using my adblocker as it keeps me safe, comfortable and secure from the tones of malicious/toxic ads YT tries to expose you to.

Hopefully UBlock manage to find a patch that stops YT from doing this if its still possible.

@Lil_VampireCJ You're welcome.

OFC that that with a truckload of salt since I'm shure that kind of shit isn't done in because it's likely or at least violates & to the point that it doesn't work.

Also I do have an enterprise contract internet connection with a whole /29 of IPv4's to use as well as appropriate records, so I'm shure doesn't do on internet connections that are literally state so.

Periodic reminder that if you ditch the zero-trust part, if you admit that trust matters even a tiny bit, you can ditch the consensus algorithm and run the entire blockchain exercise on one shitty five year old Android phone. A firstgen raspberry pi would be overkill. Seven transactions per second wouldn’t have stretched a 486 on dial-up in 1996 and the whole stack is an embarrassment.

kkarhan,
@kkarhan@mstdn.social avatar

@bhawthorne @mhoye in the end, it very much depends on your business and customers...

Whilst having the ability to accept or is a nice add-on for some asian takeout place in Germany, you basically can't survive as a business in the "P.R." China without...

Same goes with : Don't even bother trying that in Germany without a proper Bank Account because that'll make it de-facto illegal to do anything like paying employees..n
