Holy cow. Today, I added a bunch of new software to the #delightful creative tools list!
Seriously. A bunch. New tools for animation, photo manipulation, CAD/design, a couple new music production tools, a couple new web design tools, some plugins.... it's a lot of new tools, friends. I think it is, anyway. #Codeberg says I made 30 additions, so I will let you be the judge of whether that is a lot. It is subjective, after all, but if you ask me? It's a lot.
As always, it is all #free and #OpenSource software, or as we say in the list-making business: #FOSS
If you haven't perused the list in a while, now is a great time! Check it out here:
FOSS mini game compilation "Librerama" has been updated to version 0.6. This update adds a lobby; tutorial section; Dutch translation; and more. The game is made using the Godot engine. The code is licensed using GPLv3.0. You can download the game from Itch.io and the project's Codeberg repo.
CalcKey has a lot going for it. Really pretty UI and great customization options. CalcKey and Akkoma are doing something very different from Mastodon. Mastodon still has better controls around what you see and what you don't see. Which one is right for you? Only you can decide. Make an account and try it out for a few days. The fediverse has something for everyone.
Bookmarks in #PowerShell is a neat project I've been working on the last few days. Setting bookmark locations within the PowerShell console and quickly move into them as I have projects all over and got lazy typing them out.
I've noticed #Codeberg mentioned in the bios of a lot of #developers here. I finally searched it. It's clear that they are non-profit, but am I correct in my understanding that Codeberg is a #cooperative?
