Big picture:

currently has senior officials, including a possible future VP nominee, sitting in the courtroom listening to a recording of him, as a candidate, talking w/his lawyer about paying for material from The . Trump has completely got the party under his boot.

2 senators, a congresswoman & 2 state AGs are listening to a now-disbarred lawyer advising Trump on a payment.

Remember when called some supporters ? It got HUGE coverage as compared to Trump calling his enemies , like did. report:
-Broadcast TV: 18 times more coverage than Trump’s vermin remark
CNN, Fox News, & MSNBC mentioned deplorables nearly 9 times more than vermin
Print: Clinton's comment 29-to-1 Trump's vermin https://www.mediamatters.org/donald-trump/major-news-outlets-gave-much-less-coverage-trumps-vermin-attack-then-they-did-clintons
later expressed regret for the comment, but Trump DIDN'T. AND his supporters AGREED with him!

Trump calling his enemies , like did. Greg Kelly on Newsmax AGREED with him!

That ANYONE would have voted for Trump the first time is contemptible. He was already a known sleaze bag. But it’s really sickening that people, after witnessing his unethical and criminal behavior, voted for him twice. Those people are idiots, assholes, or idiotic assholes.

How does one rid America of the Republican Party base?
Introduce its members to empathy, compassion, facts, critical thinking, and science. Educate them out of existence.

They see themselves as soldiers in God’s army of American “patriots.”
The reality:
They’re faux-Christian, White nationalist, anti-democratic insurrectionists who, again, are hoping to seat a fascist in democracy’s innermost sanctum — so that he can, again, employ U.S. democracy’s own levers to destroy it.

Trump, if he “wins” the election, will be taking the presidential oath of office performatively, with no intention of honoring it, just as he did the last time.

Texas A&M Board of Regents, appointed by Greg Abbott, is full of that forced a celebrated and insanely qualified female journalist and one-time A&M graduate, who had agreed to re-launch A&M's journalism school, to withdraw. Initially, they offered her a full tenure job. She currently has full tenure at UT. Then they renegged and changed it to a 5 year contract. Then they made it a 1 year, "fire at will" position. Before she even started work, they were telling her that powerful people were against her, and that she "had a big target on her back" and that she needed to go beg for the job even after it was offered to her.

Here's are the names of the Texas A&M Board of Regents, which is responsible for her denigration and mistreatment:

David Baggett
John Bellinger
James R. Brooks
Jay Graham
Michael A. Hernandez III

This man is, by far, the most popular “leader” in their party. He’s their standard bearer. His moral turpitude is known; it’s never been credibly disputed. He’s morally bankrupt, and incomparably vile. So, what does this say about those who adulate, support, and defend him? It’s says that they’re just as reprehensible and disgusting as he is.
