Also fiddling with my #hamster configuration. Originally I just wanted it as a replacement for the leafnode #usenet proxy server on my windows machine, but #thunderbird and #Gmail are making enough problems lately that I wonder if using it as a proxy mail server wouldn't also be reasonable.
I mean, the program is like 5 mb in size, which 20 years ago might have been sizeable, but right now is a drop in the bucket.

I mean, people who are talking about hamsters are generally not talking about proxy servers.
In fact even searching on Google for help has been a chore because the joke about server hamsters being tired has become so widespread it has replaced any discussion about the software.

Wer Hamster haben möchte, sollte Notfalltieren ein Zuhause geben. In einem großen Gehege mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum Klettern und Graben. Und Goldhamster immer allein halten! Sie sind Einzelgänger und wollen vor allem ihre Ruhe. Und sie sind nachtaktiv.

Lately, not on the Switch. The entire Johnny Turbo's Arcade line, featuring middling emulations of Data East arcade titles, has recently been purged from the eShop. Golem's Retroclassix, also featuring Data East titles like Heavy Barrel and Bad Dudes, has similarly been excised from Nintendo's online store....
I spent 30 minutes trying to trap this little hellraiser this morning after he divebombed from an open enclosure. He is definitely a character, and despite our little incident, he was still quite friendly. I've never met such a sassy hammy.
Buddy the #hamster is looking for his forever home at the #Denver Animal Shelter.
And she is a #ghost hamster so we never see her, only that she's taken her nightly snacks.
Anyways, dwarf hamsters like her aren't really supposed to live that long so we've already like pre mourned her. It's a surreal experience having a hamster live this long. But that's what happens when adults take care of a hamster.
