"All of our family, friends, and neighbors in the Jabalia refugee camp have refused to evacuate.
They have refused to leave their homes.
They have chosen to stay in their land until their last breath.
But because we are in a cowardly world, a dirty world, a world devoid of humanity!
Israel has committed its crimes against innocent civilians and targeted them with tons of explosives, committing genocide.
By God, we will not leave."

Israel, again, has bombed civilian medical targets killing many innocent people including women and children. They admit to deliberately striking an ambulance at the gates of a hospital. Israel is committing a genocide and the USA is enabling them. This nightmare must end.

The UN children’s agency UNICEF has described attacks on the Jabalia refugee camp as “horrific and appalling”.

While UNICEF said it was too soon to know the number of children injured or killed in the last day, it said that more than 3,500 children have been killed in Gaza in the past 25 days.

“Children have endured too much already,” the UNICEF statement said. “The killing and captivity of children must stop.”

Gaza’s Government Media Office has now given an updated toll for the victims of Israel’s bombing of the Jabalia refugee camp on Tuesday and Wednesday.

We need to take more seriously the policy proposals from the Right in Gaza: expulsion, destruction, and re-occupation.

An internal Israeli government document of Oct 13: https://www.972mag.com/intelligence-ministry-gaza-population-transfer/

A Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security researcher: https://www.jpost.com/opinion/article-768771

Carwil,

Reading the attacks in light of these goals, the destruction of whole apartment blocks, their collapse onto residents, in neighborhoods where there is no more fuel for rescue equipment, is not an unfortunate side effect of attacking a military opponent.

It is deliberate.

This, from my perspective, is how we must interpret IDF's spokesman Hagari's statement that "the emphasis is on damage, not accuracy."

The Palestinians have never been offered a state without onerous strings attached that any reasonable people would rightly reject. Give me a break. On the other side, the Israelis could give up their genocidal commitment to apartheid and accept one state with equal rights for all.
