Chief Justice #JohnRoberts is giving prosecutors a week to respond to #Trump’s request to keep his federal #criminal election-subversion #trial on hold while he tries to persuade #SCOTUS to scuttle it entirely on the grounds of #PresidentialImmunity.
#SCOTUS Chief Justice #JohnRoberts Jr. did not address any of (the court’s #Ethics )… issues Sunday in his annual “Year-End Report on the Federal #Judiciary.” Instead, he looked back on technological advancements in the nation’s court system, detailing developments from the quill pens (seriously) used by justices in the 19th century to electronic databases of the 1980s to online trial proceedings prompted by the coronavirus pandemic.

i even co-wrote a statement for the #feminist blogger network where we were very clear eyed about Samuel Alito's history of targeting not just women in his decisions but girls and women of color.
