My favorite example, was when Rian Johnson directed Knives Out, and MALICIOUSLY complied with Apple's ridiculous demands on Apple product placement.

"Creative differences"? This is a nice way of spinning the truth, which is that Jon Stewart is past his prime and nobody was really watching THE PROBLEM (link below). His viewership dropped by 78% five weeks into his show and did not improve in the second season. By spinning this as a "creative differences" reason, this makes Jon Stewart look like a rebel, which he isn't. He's a neoliberal who most notably promulgated Wuhan lab leak conspiracies as Colbert's first in-person guest when the pandemic cleared. THAT is who Stewart is. An out-of-touch, washed-up man who can't read the room and can't retain eyeballs anymore.
Rather than kowtow to #corporate demands about content, #JonStewart has chosen to end his show on #Apple+. #Media#censorship of even basic liberal content is pervasive. Folks with actual leftist views have almost no chance of being heard.
How much is #Trump and the support for a strongman president the result of a 50 year effort to make democratic government corrupt and ineffectual?
