I've a question about modern "homebrew" games made for old consoles:
Why is the original Gameboy such a popular target? Itch lists a whopping 6406 games tagged as targeting Gameboy. The second-most popular old console is the NES, with only 1848 games on Itch: less than a third as many as the Gameboy. The Gameboy Advance sits at only 450 games on Itch.

I never really grew up with Legend of Zelda as a franchise sadly, I did grew up with Super Mario Bros 1, M.U.S.C.L.E, Lunar Pool, Bomberman 1, Snow Bros, Tank 1990, Legend of Kage (the intro did shat my pants cause it was scary insen scale), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tetris, Megaman, Road Fighter and Soccer. #nintendoentertainmentsystem#nes#nostalgia#retro#gaming
