Sometimes you need to really give things a chance.
Since I have to #exercise some more #patience until I can make music again, I decided to take the #fieldrecorder with me daily and #record interesting #sounds on a regular basis. This way I will have a nice little library of fresh #samples at hand when I will finally be able to start with #musicproduction again. 😇️
Unfortunately, I still can't use my #studio. When operating on the two #ups units, they #overheat after about an hour because they constantly have to compensate for #undervoltage (voltage a times drops from 220V to 140V). Whitout UPS, my power conditioners refuse to work because of "extreme voltage". So I guess I will have to be patient until we'll eventually get a #solar system up and running. #patience
I trust that there's a good reason for all of this and stay #positive. 🫣️🫣️

In a move 5 years ago I broke off her active bloom spike before the blooms opened. I was so disappointed. She made me wait 5 years for another spike. I almost gave up. I’m glad I didn’t!
Isn’t she a simple beauty?! Each bloom is huge, at about 5 inches across.
Sometimes you can save yourself a lot of anger and frustration by being a little more dispassionate… and by understanding the law, consequences, and not just politics or your passion.
My passion is yours, but I find it helps temper my frustration when I read legal experts like @Teri_Kanefield and others about how this all works. Then I get it, and it forces me to be more patient.
I totally agree: one way to ameliorate impatience is to get a deeper understanding of the process so that (a) you understand what all is involved and (b) you know where in the process things now are — how far along.
In fact, I think patience is a skill, and like all skills, it requires practice to master the fundamentals.
Ok! I have a process that seems to work for painting the top layer of a 1:6 scale, resin printed TRS-80 badge. Basically, I dry the nib of an oil paint pen with a paper towel and then sort of dry brush paint onto the badge.
