In Frankreich gibt es einen Bonus zwischen 6-25 € fürs Reparierenlassen kaputter Kleidung.
Finanziert wird der Reparaturbonus aus einem Fond, in den Textilhersteller einzahlen, „angespornt“ durch das 2020 in Frankreich verabschiedete Antiverschwendungsgesetz, das die Hersteller zu nachhaltiger Produktion verpflichtet.

Off to the #GlasgowRepairCafe which is visiting the university, and is in fact in the same building as my new office. If only there was somewhere to park nearby as I'm not sure I want to take all my tools on a Saturday subway train. 😞
Yesterday was #RepairCafe Coventry. Limited team but we pushed through and managed 17 others between us. Just one extra arriving too late to be seen. Everyone enjoyed the session though and that is what counts. #fixer#repair#repaircafes

Heute ist #RepairDay: Reparaturen sind die einfachste Antwort darauf, wie wir Produkte länger nutzen können. Nur wird das Reparieren schwer gemacht. Das #RechtAufReparatur schont Umwelt wie Geldbeutel der Verbraucher:innen und muss jetzt endlich umgesetzt werden!
Heute ist unser Toaster "kaputt" gegangen. Der Griff ist aus der Halterung gebrochen, aber er funktioniert sonst noch super. Nur die Bedienung fällt ohne Griff sehr schwer und ist unattraktiv. Hier ist die Reparatur erlaubt und vielleicht auch unkompliziert, aber jetzt müssen wir erstmal schauen, wie wir ihn repariert bekommen.
Vielleicht findet sich ein #RepairCafe an diesem Tag :)

Some interesting repairs at our October Repair Café at the weekend.
A metal toy racetrack which received lots of interest and attention! It was definitely a ‘boys and toys’ item! Plus a very cute soft penguin with a broken nose, his owner was very pleased to have him looking like new after an excellent textile repair.
Plus in between welcoming people I was able to get some advice on how to knit!
Overall a great day!

Le 20, 21 et 22 octobre 2023, on fêtera en France pour la première fois les Journées Nationales de la Réparation. Les organisateurs — #HOP et la Fondation Make.org — s’associent ainsi à l’International Repair Day. Depuis 2007, cette fête de la réparation mondiale se déroule toujours le 3e samedi d’octobre. Cette année, #InternationalRepairDay tombe le 21 octobre. #RepairCafe
Heute war wieder Repair Café. Mit einer Premiere, ein Ersatzteil wurde abgemessen, konstruiert, gedruckt, und hat sogar sofort gepasst!
Und die Jugend ist gleich mal an der Lötstation eingewiesen worden.
@cloudguy Fixing stuff is great. We get such great reactions from people at the #RepairCafe when we complete a fix. And when I fix something of my own I feel like I beat capitalism.
And bikes are so much better than running or taking the bus. I don't cycle much these days but I wish I did. Roads are getting more and more dangerous though. We need to reverse that.
Another #repaircafe yesterday. In Rugby this time. A quiet one, but a good one for sharing the #repair message as we had several people wander in and ask what was going on. They all left happy. Normally I limit myself to taking photos, answering questions, finding tools and parts for fellow repairs and PAT tests, but with only 4 #fixers I had to repair too.
Bis zum 3. September 2023 könnt ihr im Technikmuseum in Berlin noch die Ausstellung „Reparieren!“ ansehen. Dazu gibt es viele Angebote wie Repair Café Termine und Workshops für Schulklassen.
Während der Aktion wurden 230 Kilogramm Elektroschott verhindert und – das Repair Café im Technikmuseum läuft weiter! Jeden 1. Sonntag im Monat, von 13 bis 17 Uhr, wenn der Eintritt auch noch frei ist.
