Sarawak Metro informed that Stage 2 of the Prototype Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) Vehicle Proof-of-Concept () Exercise at Kuching-Samarahan Expressway is officially underway.

A notice was also attached for people to refer to for the traffic flow and flagmen locations throughout the POC period.

The ART will run from 20 November to 15 December, 5am to 8pm.

Bus Asia is now actively trying to switch from to gas as engine for their buses and other vehicles.

This initiative would be implemented in collaboration with the KIS Group.

The company has plans to implement this shift in the coming years.

With the use of hydrogen gas as fuel for future vehicles, it will be in line with Sarawak’s vision, which is promoting the use of green energy.

Recently, Sarawak Metro had the pleasure of meeting their counterparts in Hong Kong together with senior officers from Sarawakian ministries and agencies.

Sarawak Metro thanked MTR for the opportunity to connect and learn during the visit.
