Alternate Headline that would actually deserve to be on a Canadian top-news page:
“Kate Photo Scandal another reason Canada should divorce itself from this circus”.

I mean, for the love of god, WHO CARES.

They Don't Live Here.
None of them have any impact on our day to day lives.
They aren't even Canadian Citizens.

It's just gossip. That's all it's good for. Stupid, meaningless, gossip.

I'd be happy to discuss the merits and demerits of the Canadian with you, @chris , as time permits.

Let's get a few subsidiary issues out of the way first:

I agree that parliamentary democracy is entirely compatible with a republic, and that the head of state in such a system could be selected in many different ways (e.g., has the parliament choose its president) — I think that's a preferable system to a presidential republic; probably you do too?

At the recent Trinidad Carnival, Mas band Vulgar Fraction showed solidarity with Palestine and other places experiencing genocide, thus reinforcing that Mas was, is, and forever will be about revolution.

There's just something powerful and spiritual about Moko Jumbies, the Protectors who see all.

Earlier in December, together with my former student, we published an article Assessing the Responsiveness of the Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and the Government of : The and Outbreaks.

It is an explorative small sample size that, hopefully, one day will be expanded into cross-national comparison.

What a fantastic opportunity for Canada. If we beat Trinidad & Tobago in March & qualify for the Copa America next summer, we'll play in the opening have against freakin' Argentina! Peru & Chile will also be big challenges for the Canadian men, but exactly the kind of challenges our national team needs leading up to the 2026 World Cup.
