That is not what his leader believes, and it might help his cause if he was not supported by a truly corrupt company. Labour AND the Guardian wake up. Amazing statement ‘Since 2019, UK ministers have disregarded constitutional norms by legislating in areas devolved to the Senedd.’ - they have never said the same thing about #Scotland.
'However, figures published this week show injuries on the roads fell by a third in the final quarter of last year compared to the same period a year earlier. After a review, the Welsh government agreed to more 30mph exemptions but insisted that most roads should remain at 20mph.’
The hysteria about 20mph was just that - rabble rousing based on no attention to the details. That included Times reporting.
@Wen
Like I keep saying: evidence based policy with humane goals. The goal was to have fewer deaths and injuries. The evidence is: it measurably works.
There's nothing left to say to opponents of an evidenced policy, except: shut up, you were wrong.
@petealexharris There will always be those who bleat about the ‘economic' costs. There is good evidence (actually based on traffic monitoring via mobile telephones) that it has a marginal effect on travel times. So they can stuff that one up themselves as well.

“He trained his men for their top-secret commando operations by getting them to climb the walls of Harlech’s medieval castle and break in undetected.
If they succeeded in that part of the mission, they had to immediately run the 38 miles to the top of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and back.” https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c144r2grx05o#wales
Dare I say it but the Guardian appears to be going very easy on Gething and Labour ‘shenanigans’… they wouldn’t pull their punches for any other party.
