It's 20 years ago today that I registered my first account on the wordpress.org forums. I had been preparing to move my blog to #WordPress 1.2 and needed some help.
It's been quite a ride. Such a wonderful, friendly and helpful community.
Je suis perdu avec #Wordpress et #DIVI (ne me jugez pas, ou alors pas trop fort). Je ne trouve aucun moyen d'afficher le libellé de la catégorie d'un article dans l'article proprement dit.
Bêtement, j'imaginais pouvoir faire ça dans un template dédié aux articles dans le "thème builder" mais je dois mal m'y prendre.
(ni virer Wordpress ni virer Divi ne sont des options dans le cas présent, même si l'envie ne manque pas)
Wie lustig. Bereits seit dem 20.04.2016 werden alle meine Beiträge aus dem #Fediverse zusätzlich auf einem #WordPress gespiegelt. Den ursprünglichen #Friendica Server gibt es heute nicht mehr. Der war irgendwann zu klein und ist auf eine größere Maschine umgezogen.
Die Idee dazu war ganz einfach: Sollte etwas ganz, ganz schreckliches mit dem Server passieren, dann habe ich immer noch eine 1:1 Kopie meiner öffentlichen Beiträge, die ich hier erstellt habe 😎
Randnotiz: Das Blog ist damit älter als #Mastodon 🤪.

#WordPress Based on what I’ve seen, Block Themes are not growing and are barely used. This is based on the low and declining install counts for Block Themes from WP.org. Whenever someone says “Block Themes are the future of WordPress”, it makes you feel like you should be focusing resources there. But based on the evidence so far, that’s not true. If the trends remain as they have been for 2 years, how much wasted time will have been spent by WP business to build for a future that will never be?
Salut la communauté. Une petite idée de comment on pourrait récupérer localement le contenu d'un fichier toutes les 10 secondes sur un serveur pour l'afficher sur un site qui tourne sur #Wordpress sur ce même serveur. C'est en gros le nom d'un artiste et d'une chanson diffusée en live sur une radio, et on veut l'afficher sur la page web de la radio.
On peut fait ça en quoi ? En #php ? Avec un plugin ? Et s'il y a 1000 personnes qui accèdent au site en même temps, comment on fait pour éviter de faire 1000 fois la même requête ?
Posiedziałem ostatnio w motywach Full Site Editing dla WordPressa i jestem pod wrażeniem ich wygody i możliwości. Po zorientowaniu się w podstawach można naprawdę sporo tam wyklikać w dość prosty sposób.
Jak sobie przypomnę pierwsze kontakty z WP przed laty, to widzę jak potężnym narzędziem stał się ten silnik.
