Any experts on here that could answer me a question?

Is there a way to bulk move a bunch of entries from one category to another ?

It is pretty cool to see all the different forks of major fediverse platforms. Just learning about Chuckya, a "soft fork" of glitch-soc, which itself is a fork of Mastodon.

Really shows the diversity of the fediverse!

The piece of shit Humane AI pin raised $230 million btw (from Sam Altman, Microsoft, Salesforce, etc.).

It took them about 6 years to make a device that costs $700 upfront and $300/year that is worse than your phone at literally everything.

How did nobody this whole time say wait a minute why are we even doing this?

hashraydamon,

@thomasfuchs for the same reason softbank went all the way with that office rental app weWork, they drink the Kool aid and rev the HypeCycle

Brutal reviews for Humane Ai Pin suggest that the tech industry's overpromising about AI is starting to catch up with it. I wrote about where the company went wrong https://www.platformer.news/humanes-folly-and-the-ai-hype-hangover/

The phrase “AI” has been poisoned so hard that nobody building serious products should use it. I would love to see more free software projects leverage computer vision or natural language processing for example, but I would never describe those as “AI” because it’s a brand destroying phrase at this point

Yokai Gameplay was my first proper comic project (meaning with a defined plot and a expected release schedule)

It was a single panel comic based on a gameplay of the first Yokai Watch game mean to release weekly

Complications with both the format, job and trying to do the game at the same time as the comic ended all.

Last night I watched John Oliver's segment about Boeing and how they turned focus away from making quality products in favor of inflating their own stock price though buybacks and cost-cutting. Wow! It's the same toxic shit at my workplace and at many other orgs out there. Yeah Boeing is being naughty but this is a systemic problem for the tech industry and other industries as well. Business majors are ruining everything. My takeaway wasn't just "Boeing bad", it's that our whole civ is fucked.

We have a workshop question this week from @hashraydamon that I wanted to put out there to the #WebcomicTalk crowd: https://me.dm/@hashraydamon/111778031765491320

Question: What advice do you have on integrating a great deal of text onto a comic page - specifically computer code for tutorial comics?

Please reply with your suggestions, and boost the question so we can help them out and see what other #webcomic creators think.

Hey @webcomictalk can you help me to find tips on how to gracefully integrate a lot of text (Specifically code and computer outputs) on a comic?

I'm planning to make some programming tutorials on comic format and code and outputs are kinda a necessity for that

Thanks

@webcomictalk previews? My schedule (if you can even call it that) is so disorganized even I don't know when the comic would be ready, so posting before is ready will be counterproductive
