I think it's insane that the NYPD, one of the most militarized cop armies in the so-called United States, was given complete freedom to authoritarian violence on students for hours on end and then had the gall to tell the remaining students that they can now safely walk the campus.
Truly, every cop is a valid target. If this is how the state responds to the power of the people, we have no reason to be peaceful. We have no reason to empathize with the agents of the state.
Hamilton Hall was raided by the pigs on April 30th, 1968, a Tuesday. The students stood for justice against racial violence and the imperialist war. Now, on April 30th, 2024, a Tuesday, Hamilton Hall has once again been raided by the pigs, ordered to suppress resistance from students who are standing against imperialist genocide, here and now.
it's almost as if NYC has been overtaken by fascists. forget about the presidents of Columbia, Bard, NYU. get rid of #ACAB Eric Adams. if not one democrat will reduce the size of the NYPD, then put them all together into a revival of the Titanic or Lusitania and send off to sea.
Free speech is alive and well on American campuses as students are welcome to protest injustice as long as their slogans are perfectly calibrated to offend noone and can withstand the scrutiny of bad-faith actors and no individual among them is a hothead who's said some offensive shit either during the protest or previously on social media. #gazaprotests#censorship#acab
