Walking in style in a library in 1654. The shoes he's wearing while transporting 4 big books in Wolfenbüttel's Herzog August Bibliothek were trending in mid-seventeenth century Europe.
My favorite #boots: jika tabi popular with construction workers in #Japan that I modified with tanker boot straps and rechargeable LED lights on the heels. Keeps me visible walking or biking around traffic.
I made an orange version of my "mag boot" lights inspired by #TheExpanse for visibility when walking around traffic. Might also be useful when on a bike. Thoughts?
Made these "mag boot" lights (red version with arrow pattern) inspired by #TheExpanse to keep me visible when walking around traffic. Could also work for when on a bicycle/motorcycle/scooter. What do you think?

Behh, most of the good shoes at Shoe Freaks aren't for my size either (W14-15)
Any other Peggy Hill/Big Ass Shoe alternatives? I like their styles, esp the chunky and platform ones, but the styles they have in my size at a bit eh. They have some boots but I dunno how I'd do in stilettos, def not confident enough to blow $150+ on 'em
Still been sticking with cheapo Amazon ones, at least they're in my size, quality questionable but price ok
I know the economics but I'm a bit disappointed to find out they seemingly do this too, oh you want cute colors, you better have the absolute smallest feet ever discovered on a human being
Did you see those Boot Wings and think, "Pfft, I can make those!" Well, yes, YOU CAN! Patterns are also available for for the creatively inclined, including a how-to video!
Was working today on kind of an entry piece for Community Design Team: a logo and new mascot for #Bootc (special type of container).
His name is Bootseef and he's ready to fly through updates! 🚀🚀 Thanks to Madeline Peck and Design Team for the sketches, sources and color choices that inspired me. 👋 I enjoyed doing this particular mascot the most.
@fedora.design@peertube.linuxrocks.online and #CommunityDesignTeam have lots of work on their plate, so I invite aspiring and designers by trade to have a looksie-look in their GitLab issues. @fedora has engineering and other teams worth their gold, making software great, as well.
Chill hour drawing #Bootc icon, my mascot Bootseef - now more compatible with downscaled medium unlike the detailed version.
If you like more vector stuff, #CommunityDesignTeam, @fedora.design@peertube.linuxrocks.online and @fedora projects, come check my stream next time! I enjoy explaining some intricacies, in reasonable amounts. 😅
