There's always someone who tries it on: a person took a certain burger chain to court (yes, them) and sued them for damages and (potential) medical fees after burning themselves on a takeaway cup of tea.
Takeaway containers are marked for hot contents here, and the brewing temperature of between 90°C and 100°C is common knowledge, and that water cools - especially when eight minutes elapse between purchase and accident. It is also common knowledge that the lids do not fit perfectly, and no one should pick their takeaway cup of tea (or coffee) up by the lid.
The complainant lost the case, and was told to try turning commonsense on before going anywhere near hot things in future.
Well Instagram didn’t last long! Installed it and realised it was a sensory nightmare cos there’s no way to stop autoplaying the videos and there’s loads of them all over the screen. It’s worse then the gif screens on iPhone (which has a setting to stop autoplay)

I just spent a rediculous amount of time troubleshooting why I can’t add new devices to HomeKit. I even went so far as to try a different WiFi base station. Either I have the single most esoteric network setup—which isn’t likely—or parts of HomeKit are fundamentally broken. Again. #homekit#apple#smarthome#fail

I did, in fact, schedule a payment for March 7. I did that on February 22, which is when they should have sent the confirmation email. Instead, it took them 26 days.

As I should have expected, things did not really went according to the plan yesterday :)
First I broke the copper pad when desoldering the capacitor making it difficult to test that board with the new ceramic capacitor.
So I did not, and, naively, went directly to solder the new board
Obviously, it did not work. The glitch I thought the capacitor would fix was back. Maybe it was not a capacity problem ?
After few hours of theories, experiments, failures I ended up stacking to capacitors and it works. Maybe it was a capacity problem ?
I guess I'll have to learn how capacitors really works, and the difference between each kind :) #pcb#LedClock#fail
