#Fanfiction - ignorieren, lesen, schreiben - Wie gehst Du damit um und wie stehst Du grundsätzlich dazu?
Habe schon sehr gute Fanfiction gelesen.
Well, you'd think #AI and #generativeAI like #DALL·E wouldn't be a problem for #fanfiction and #fanart, where you can't own the IP or sell it, but you'd be wrong. People posing as fan artists and LoRa's and artist style stealing are all in the article. The fandom is #MLP. There are links to other related issues.
#Purim starts tonight – a Jewish holiday commemorating the rescue of the Jewish people from annihilation by Queen Esther, as told in the Bible's Book of Esther.
Purim is the only Jewish holiday with an entire biblical book about its origins. But the actual origins of the holiday are debated by scholars who note a lot of queer parts of the text – and how Esther's name sounds a lot like a Mesopotamian goddess.
Visit #FanFiction.net, and you too can try to decide who you dislike more: #CloudFlare, the website admins, or the authors who keep posting there (hint: the last one is kind of unreasonable but not entirely without merit). Most websites give you at least one reason to hate them in 2024, but this is a three-for-one deal. For even more choice, get your #fanfic recommendations through #Reddit, where everybody ends up linking to the terrible, unnecessary mobile-specific version of the site because they have a terrible, unnecessary mobile-specific version of the site. #fanfiction
Hi! I'm (probably) Ember (trying it out). I also go by Zemri.
#Agender. They/them and neutral terms only unless otherwise indicated. #masc leaning in physical presentation. Been on T for almost 5 months now. Mostly just goblin mode at all times.
I didn't write as much in February as I did in January. 5125 words. But I did write every single day, so I've written something every day this year so far. I tried to not float around between ideas as much this month, which I think held me back. My ADD does not like to be restricted to one project. #amwriting#writing#fanfiction#fiction

do you want to read a 1,500 word post-canon fic about how for SOME reason nobody is worried about Ling Wen returning from her evil interlude to once again take up all the paperwork of heaven, despite how much power that gives her? also about ling wen & pei ming's terrible friendship <3. also about mu qing's "down with the aristocracy" agenda. IF SO:
Just an average Starfleet vessel completely crewed by small animals. Between shifts they visit a communal holodeck village. Nothing serious ever happens.
Until it does and Commander Nook needs to request a crewmember replacement. And the replacement's a Human.
I wrote every single day this month (outside of my job of course). I wrote 16578 words in total. My best day was January 25 when I wrote 1427 words. My worst day was January 27 when I wrote 10.
I have published a short story called Preludes. It's about a Prince of Amber who is pursued by a devilish mist and must convince a knight to help him so they can both escape.
I'm definitely in that category of fic authors in their 30s that write their faves waking up after the best sleep ever. I'm nearing 40 tho and noticing a further preoccupation with how soft and comfortable I can get their clothes and also how nice everything can smell 🥹
I'm debating. I'm writing a scene that takes place after the credits of Phantom Liberty. Valerie is giving someone the rundown of the events from the DLC. Would you write it out? Or do a "She sat down and told them about her last week, everything from [starting point] to [the events of tonight]. When she finished..." summary?
The first option would be better for people who read it (for whatever reason) that haven't placed PL, I guess. 🤔
My new pills are making me exhausted and AO3 is being weird with my formatting all of a sudden but I have managed to post a chapter at least, which gives an excuse to finally post the little cover I made. Nardole is AWOL with the TARDIS, leaving Bill and the Doctor stranded in revolutionary France, and the Doctor is enjoying himself just a little too much. https://archiveofourown.org/works/42928764/chapters/132437347#fanfic#fanfiction#DoctorWho#DoctorWhoFanFiction
Lately my hobby has been browsing the "just in" section of fanfiction.net. I'm not even in the mood to read anything necessarily, but at least once a day I like to look through it and see which fandoms are getting attention. I'm happy when I see an update in a smaller fandom, even when it isn't one of mine. Hey, there are people out there who like it, and now it'll be easier to find the fandom and they'll have more to read! #Fanfiction#Fandom#Fandoms
