Finally planted the Hardy Chicago Fig today. It was quart sized and I put it in a gallon pot when I got it a month ago and put it under the grow lights. It was getting root bound when I planted it today. Fast grower I guess, it's my first fig.
@mjgardner looks like they'd reinvented Bash's auto_completion.d folders, but only on Mac, and with the chance their AI would lie about the result. Doesn't sound useful.
The color schemes are terrible, especially for the top two maps. The upper and lower ends of the range (dark red and dark green) are just about the worst possible choice for colorblind folks (1 person in 20!). Even ignoring that, the lightest colors are midpoints in a sequential dataset, giving the false impression of a center point from which the data diverge. This doesn’t make sense for total population, the range for which is open only at one end (minimum of zero). You could make the argument about diverging from some measure of center, but that is not indicated anywhere. A diverging color scheme would be appropriate for the third map (change in population diverges up or down from 0, or could diverge around the global change), but there again the lightest color is arbitrarily located halfway up the range.
Here are some good examples for sequential and diverging color schemes: personal.sron.nl/~pault/#fig:scheme_sunset

I didn't expect that the most surviving species after the #LaPalma volcano (#Canary Is) would be the #fig tree (#Ficus caria)! Their canopy (in green) emerge from ashes (most tree is below the ashes). #Pinus#canariensis in the background is not as healthy as the fig tree!.

I've forgotten some. There's seeds on a pineapple, and on a Banana. Both are likely sterile but I tried each without success.
Right now, I am growing daffodils from last year's seeds.
I've started one or two pots of all my varieties of tomatoes to see what starts. They should be able to go out in the greenhouse in a few weeks.
The small fig tree which I discovered in my garden a couple years ago and transplanted somewhere more appropriate is making baby leaves 💚
The azalea mini bush which suffered so much from the drought last year and made tiny leaves as a result, is flowering again. Of the four such mini bushes, one didn’t make it after last summer, another is budding, and the third one hasn’t developed buds (yet?)
