We have a "volunteer" Clematis vine with pretty blue flowers climbing up out of an old Azalea bush in back of the garage. They looked particularly nice after this morning's rain.

Love my morning fix. Can you spot the lurking hog? @gardening

20 second video. Outside at night, camera faces a hedgehog feeding area. The head of a hedgehog can be seen inside the wooden stationon the right, listening to the hog outside. The 2nd hog is on the left in front of a toad house, nosing around the gravel, then pushes its head inside the toad house, lifting it off the ground. It pulls out something white, perhaps a grub, & eats it.

The eggplant has now joined the peppers out in the garden row. In the greenhouse, the cukes, zukes, and squash have started to show. Next to them, the first planting of sweetcorn has now shown vigorous sprouting. Won't be long now! 😀

I never expected to be so attached to plants.Three months ago I started with seeds and now they have become little bauties. A few days ago some of them looked a bit sick, but it seemed to be a lack of nutrition. They also survived a hailstorm. I am so sorry as I was a few minutes too late to get them back in time.
