Sorry that I missed posting last week, I think I was a bit unorganized 😥. Pretty empty week unfortunately so just listen to a bunch of villager birthdays 😂.

Nintendo Switch game status: Your submission passed and is ready for release! Congratulations!
So, the game is tested and we are preparing the final stage. There were several iterations and bug fixes related to icons and terms in the game, the last test took about 2 weeks
News / Nintendo Network Shutdown: Online services for the Wii U and 3DS has shut down
The time is up for online services for the #WiiU and #3DS consoles.
It is now April 9th at 1am BST, which means online services for both consoles are no longer available. This means you will be no longer able to splat anymore squids, challenge anyone to a Mario Kart race or even try to show off your bowling skills on official Nintendo servers on the #NintendoWiiU or #Nintendo3DS consoles.
To continue playing online services on both consoles, you will need to mod your consoles. Guides to do that are available on https://wiiu.hacks.guide and https://3ds.hacks.guide. After that, install @pretendo and follow the brilliant guides for installation for Wii U or 3DS. They cover everything you need to know about modding your console and getting Pretendo set up (I've helped add some commits to the Pretendo guide to make it easier to get started).
My 3 kids (& husband & I) are starting to have more struggles sharing one console & I think it might be time to invest in a 2nd Switch. But! I have some questions:
Do we think Nintendo's next console is coming soon? The Switch is 7 years old...
Does the Lite version still pair with pro controllers? Any cons to the Lite other than can't dock it?
Will my kids have to 'pick one' for their account to reside on??
Trying to avoid dropping around $400 CAD for something that might get replaced by the next gen Nintendo soon or that will cause a bunch of account headaches. 4/5 of us are on the Family plan subscription. Youngest doesn't have an online account yet.
It's going to be an SNK themed weekend if I can tear myself away from EDF 6.
