One thing I wish #PeerTube did was post a federated announcement whenever I went live. Right now I have to post things manually just like I did on Twitch which sort of defeats the purpose.

@zalasur Hum I think it's because Mastodon doesn't support Update activities on Video, and so it won't update the Note that was previously created on first livestream.

Si vous avez mis à jour Peertube en v6.1.0, et que vous utilisez le plugin livechat (quelque soit la version entre 6.3.0 et 9.0.1), la fédération est cassée: votre serveur ne pourra pas envoyer de mises à jours des videos.
C'est dû à la mise en place d'une validation de donnée supplémentaire dans Peertube v6.1.0, et d'une déclaration de type manquante dans le plugin.

C'est corrigé dans le plugin v9.0.2 que je viens de publier.
Vous devriez mettre à jour dès que possible.
Ça peut prendre 12 à 24h pour que la mise à jour soit disponible sur votre instance. Si elle ne l'est pas, vous pouvez juste désinstaller le plugin en attendant (ou mettre à jour le champs "plugin"."latestVersion" dans la base de donnée).
Vraiment désolé pour le désagrément. Je n'ai pas vu le bug en testant la 6.1.0-RC1, je ne l'ai vu que hier soir vers minuit, par hasard. J'ai d'abord cru que c'était un bug Peertube, avant de réaliser d'où ça venait.
Je suis dessus depuis ce matin 8h, merci à @mehdi_benadel qui m'a aidé à trouver le bon correctif. Sans lui, j'y serais encore.
Important Message for #Peertube admins:
If you have updated your instance to Peertube 6.1.0, and if you use the livechat plugin (any version above 6.3.0), the federation is broken: your server won't be able to send any video update.
This is due to new data validation in Peertube v6.1.0, and insufficient data type declaration in the plugin.
This is fixed in livechat v9.0.2, that i just published. You should update as soon as possible.
It can take up to 12 or 24h for this version to be available on your instance. If it is not available, just uninstall the plugin, and wait (or update the "plugin"."lastVersion" in the database).

@John_Livingston Peertube admins, please note that this is mostly due to stricter verifications on Peertube's side.
Any other plugin that do not comply and add data to the AP object without a proper JSON-LD context can make it break. Please check your logs for issues.

It’s mostly unattended, so it’s not too tough, but it really is impressive that someone figured out this whole process to turn the poison bamboo into tasty bamboo 🐼
