Currently drinking my morning coffee. I’ll be watching the Monaco qualifying and then at 1pm EST I have the @Vivaldi Community Talk with @cliffwade. Rest of the day is free for now.
ICQ is closing down. It was really at its height in 2000 and that is when we integrated ICQ into Opera. We made a small (5k) client and it worked really well.
AOL had purchased ICQ and they were concerned about MSN taking users from them by connecting to their service, so they stopped supporting 3rd party clients. We contacted them, to see if they would make an exception for us, but they did not.
They said that if we removed our 5k client, we could maybe discuss bundling their client, but it was bigger than Opera, so that was not going to happen.
@jon Another perfect example of companies ruining an experience by trying to lock you into their ecosystem. Makes me love #Vivaldi even more than I already do.

@Vivaldi I don't have ADHD, but I use almost all of those features. #Vivaldi is amazing in helping me stay organized and cutting out external distractions. There's just no other tool like it.

✨ One #Vivaldi gripe is that I can never remember how to rearrange the icons in my extension panel. They rarely change order, but every once in a while, I need to re-install an extension, and all ordering hell breaks loose.
Turns out, you have to hold down the ⌘ key, then click and drag on the extension icon before letting go of the ⌘ key and then your mouse button.
