So, I know I keep saying that I'll drop out of the U.S. campus anti-Joe Biden protest movement debate. I jumped in since I worry so much about our climate crisis that anything that might help out the GOP is something to worry about.

I've seen now how small the anti-Biden movement actually is despite how loud they are I'm not so worried except that since I monitor what motivates voters in the USA the true tiny size of this crowd may belie their political danger.

Please keep in mind that even unintended consequences can cause real harm.

Advice for Protesters and especially professors:

  1. Participants and provocateurs outside your campus may not have your best interests in mind.

  2. The US/Israel relationship is complicated. Deteriorating relations have the potential to cause unrest throughout the Middle East, (even worldwide).

  3. The problem isn’t the Israeli people, the problem is Benjamin Netanyahu. He is a narcissist and a fascist.

Not many people on social media know what I'm talking about when you use the term, working fluids, but I'm hoping to change that.

For every 1kW of electrical input, Heat2O offers threefold hot water output with a temperature of 176°F (80°C), even at freezing outdoor conditions at -13°F (-25°C), said Fischer. He added, “The future of heating is here, and it’s more sustainable than ever.”

I want CO2 to become our main working fluid instead of our main GHG! https://r744.com/atmo-america-mitsubishi-electric-cites-70-heating-cost-reduction-for-co2-heat-pump-water-heater/

California Governor Gavin Newsome is proposing a 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution to help end our nation’s gun violence crisis.

The American people are sick of Congress’ inaction.

The 28th will enshrine 4 widely supported gun safety freedoms -- while leaving the 2nd Amendment intact:

  1. Raising the minimum age to purchase a gun to 21

  2. Universal background checks

  3. A reasonable waiting period for gun purchases

  4. Banning the civilian purchase of assault weapons

I agree.

It should be easy to connect solar systems to your home. That’s why U.S. Department of Energy, through their Incubator program and with help from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, partnered with industry to create an online price and component comparison website.

This tool makes it easy to shop around for installers, solar panels, batteries, inverters, and more, to help save time, money, and energy. https://www.energy.gov/eere/solar/articles/eere-success-story-doe-funding-helps-build-one-stop-shop-rooftop-pv-systems

In July 2022, the price of a used Tesla Model Y (2021 model year) was $71,000. Today, it’s $32,000, reports Edmunds. Most remarkably, a used Tesla Model 3 is now cheaper than the average used gasoline vehicle.

Because of sophisticated cooling hardware and management software, most batteries are expected to outlive their car. Replacing the battery is unlikely to pay the full price of $6,500 to $20,000 cost. Warranty policies generally cover batteries when they fall below 75% of original capacity

It just seems so obvious to me that the anti-Joe Biden violence being ginned up is Kremlin agitprop like so much of the BLM stuff was in 2020 trying to help out the GOP that it's hard for me to keep quiet even though it's certainly not going to make me any friends.

Hopefully enough Americans will choose the boring old policy wonk instead of going for the populist Putinist again this year but it seems about every third social media post is anti-Biden so I'm worried.

More climate progress in that a major news outlet is recognizing how important Biden's transition of the USA away from fossil fuels is:

Jigar Shah, Biden's director of the Loan Programs Office in the US Department of Energy, has been named by Time as one of 2023's 100 most influential people.

In his usual humble manner he gives the credit to Secretary Granholm and President Biden.

Nikkki Haley and all the other Republicans will still be supporting the GOP nominee because the fossil fuel industry is paying them to do that.

I think that should be enough reason for everyone to stop attacking Democrats, but regrettably mine seems to be a minority opinion sadly so I'm nervous as hell about elections this year still sadly.

Between 2018 and 2022, CO2 emissions from all sources across the San Francisco Bay Area dropped about 1.8% annually, a decrease the researchers attribute to the rise in EVs.

The Bay Area has the highest EV adoption rate in the country: last year, electric cars, pickup trucks, and SUVs made up nearly 40% of new auto registrations in San Jose and 34% in San Francisco.

Since Russia’s invasion in February 2022, Ukraine has become far and away the top recipient of U.S. foreign aid. This marks the first time that a European country has held the top spot since the Harry S. Truman administration directed vast sums into rebuilding the continent through the Marshall Plan after World War II.

This chart right here makes it so clear that all these efforts to downplay the aid that the U.S. has provided to are Russian political technology driven.

If you're wondering why there's such a vigorous opposition to EVs, it's because of all of the people that get rich off of selling oil.

Oil producers have seen demand for their products increase continually for decades and they don't want to lose that gravy train.

The best way to put them out of business is for everyone to transition away from fossil fuels as fast as they possibly can.

Kentucky's supermajority of Republicans in our legislature just overrode the governor's veto of their bill mandating that coal power plants to continue polluting.

All over the country we have local efforts funded by the #FossilFools doing everything they can to delay #ClimateAction

We desperately need to make the transition away from fossil fuels a local issue in as many communities as we possibly can because when it comes right down to it all climate action is local.

Due to the high efficiency and large number of photovoltaic systems in Greece, it is becoming more and more common for these alternative energy sources to have to be temporarily taken off the network during the day in order to keep the electricity supply stable and to avoid power failures.

Greece has a further 16 gigawatts of renewable capacity currently under construction.

Trump's bond requirement reduction by 60% is frustrating, but is probably a common compromise in our courts. It does not mean that our justice system is broken.

It's certainly a system in which the wealthy and privileged get more breaks than does the average Joe, but that's been a problem that we've had since before the Magna Carta so there's no need to throw up your hands and quit now. We can make progress, but we have to acknowledge that it's going to take a lot of hard work.

FPOTUS Trump has promised to end offshore wind in the USA if he's elected and every Republican supports this position because the fossil fuel industry owns the GOP even more than does the NRA!

Do you want to know why the fossil fuel industry is so opposed to offshore wind? There's enough offshore wind capacity to power the U.S. FOUR times over that's why.

The entire goal of the GOP is to protect FF industry profits. So if you are not supporting Democrats you're supporting global warming!
