Netanyahu and Biden governments in meltdown again as three countries bypass US veto and declare Palestine a state
The US and Israeli governments have reacted with fury to announcements by three European governments, at the same time, that they are recognising Palestinian statehood. Ireland, Norway and Spain have all now formally declared Palestine to be a state.

Instead of putting up "angry" performances wrt student protests and ICC's issuance of an arrest warrant for Netanyahu, Biden had better listen to what the Irish Prime Minister had to say when Ireland announced the recognition of the State of Palestine (along with #Spain and #Norway).
That's how politicians, who actually respect the intelligence of the people whom they serve, deal with political issues, and how they honor their homeland's love for freedom.

The #ICC can issue for signatories countries an arrest warrant on #Netanyahu because it has jurisdiction over international crimes committed in #Palestine since 2012

If #Israel doesn't recognise the #ICC, its territory isn't included in the jurisdiction, and the crimes of Hamas where carried out there, then how can the #ICC issue a legally binding arrest warrant on Hamas leaders?

Judiciary agreed that for the intent of the Rome Statute Palestine be recognised as a State. Crimes committed by or to a member of the ICC gives the ICC full jurisdiction to investigate and Khan has done that. This is no different to Putin’s warrant where Ukraine is a member, but Russia is not.
Though both Israel and US are not signatories of the Rome Statute that concedes ICC jurisdiction, the Genocide Convention that went into force in 1951 covers all General Assembly members and the #ICC is authorized to charge crimes against humanity without limitation.
It also imposes obligations on all #UN members to arrest persons charged. Putin was charged in March 2023 under the genocide convention. Arrest Putin now!
Joe Biden continues to fully support the Gaza genocide because he does not believe it will hurt him politically, and because he has no empathy for the Palestinians. This is the same arrogance that brought down LBJ over the Vietnam war.

Should key Israeli Gov and IDF officials ever be charged with genocidal acts, Biden and Blinken will be next on the list. The law is clear on that. You cannot point the finger at Trump for today’s actions while Biden is shovelling money and arms into Israel as fast as he can. That is risible.
