I do crossword puzzles (American), and sometimes comment on them.

Music, cats, Thomas Pynchon, capybaras, modern art, food, ...

I don't have much of a life, I'm here to vicariously live by following yours. The things I post expire after 60 days or so. Not really worth saving.

I don't mind (as long as it isn't for some some legacy admission). But kids who got hosed by DeVries and predatory lenders? Sure.
I paid off mine. Granted it was only $7500 (86.08 a month for 120 months, and I had a coupon book). Could afford rent, food, and the loan. No car. Made about $5.00 an hour. Some lean times. Philosophy didn't pay well.

A little speedier (8'41" per) on today's 15.4 Km walk. And it was more vigorous at 128 BPM. Still not a 100% recovered from the cold that caught me. Or, at least, that's what I tell myself.

Today's first Km was 9" minutes and change. Ugh. "Just take a walk, nobody cares how fast you go or how long it takes." Sounds good, I like just walking.
Alas, after moderate (110 BPM) 21.9 Km at 9'50" per, it turns out somebody did care.
Breakfast was late, the food bowl was only half full, and Desdemona was in imminent danger of starving to death.

I'm gonna be honest y'all, it's felt dark lately, and for good reason, LGBTQ+ rights in the balance, an election coming up, women struggling to get basic Healthcare, mass shootings, SCOTUS, the environment. The list goes on and on, and the media twists everything to sound even worse, or just straight up ignores actual news. But here's the thing, I know a lot of you, and the fact that you exist in the world gives me hope. You care about the future and you want good things, and so do I, and as long as that spark is there, we have hope. So, let's focus on some good today! Share a good headline, some positive news either on a larger scale or just something personal, a nice picture you took, a funny meme or video, whatever made you feel good or at least, gave you a smile. Let's share some joy!

My iWatch has gone nuts. On today's walk, the same route I took yesterday, it told me I went 2 kilometers less, took longer per kilometer, but the total time was the same.
When I told Emma, she didn't care, she just wanted to know why she doesn't have any treats.

Remember the Donlad Trump's and Jared Kushner's loudly exclaimed "peace plan" for the Palestine issue, which basically consisted of all the "Arab country" rulers selling out the Palestinians for such payments as e.g. Morocco getting illegal annexation illegitimately approved, exchanging one genocidal expansion for another and similar horrible, horrible bartering against humanity all around?

Yeahhhh... only a moron would have believed it could have any other result than: this, mass-deaths of both Palestinians and Jews, now.
It's of course far from the only factor, but it's a significant factor.
