Today, Ireland, Norway, and Spain announced their recognition of Palestine as an independent state—a decision that will formally take effect on May 28. Two thirds of UN Member States already recognize Palestine as a sovereign state.

The US Govt has claimed to work towards a Palestinian state for 76 years but has failed.

The Israeli Govt is publicly declaring they will never recognize a Palestinian state.

The UN must step in & recognize Palestine for the sake of justice.

It is long past time.

Trump is running for POTUS on “unified Reich,” so where is the loud GOP Speaker condemnation of this pro Nazism?🤔

The GOP message is clear: Antisemitism is OK if it gets us votes, but weaponized when we can use it to attack our opponents.

Just as horrifying—Trump knows elevating Nazism elevates his stature in the GOP, & gains him more votes than it might lose him.

If legacy media held accountable those in power, they’d require every Republican to answer if they support Trump’s pro Nazi view.

Israel’s military is tipping off far-right settler terrorists to the location of aid trucks delivering vital supplies to Gaza to block delivery.

This. Is. A. War. Crime.

Israel is claiming “Hamas” is diverting aid. That is a claim all relief agencies reject. US officials also state Israel has offered no evidence to support allegations that Hamas is diverting aid.

Beware of attempts to smear the ICC prosecution by claiming that ICC has "equated Israel & Hamas."

ICC has done no such thing. That's not how law works. The law works by comparing a person's behavior with what the law says is legal & illegal. That's what's happened here. Period.

It's incredible watching the politicians who told Israel to "do whatever you have to do" including "drop nukes" on Gaza, then vote for tens of billions in arms for Israel as they knowingly bombed civilians, even to the point that Biden admitted it violated international law, suddenly clutch their pearls that the ICC is enforcing international law.

Suddenly "law and order" and "international rules based order" need not apply. smh

•Putin: "Anyone who's a party to the ICC and has obligations should fulfill their obligations & turn over Putin."

•Netanyahu: "US rejects the ICC prosecutor’s application for arrest warrants for Israeli officials & Hamas."

Biden on ICC Warrants for:
•Putin: "The ICC warrants against Putin make a very strong point. He's clearly committed war crimes."

•Netanyahu: "The ICC prosecutor’s application for arrest warrants against Israeli leaders is outrageous."

If the US saw lack of ICC jurisdiction as a valid defense that exempts Israel from ICC prosecution, then US would not have welcomed ICC arrest warrants for Putin—who also rejects ICC jurisdiction. But instead the US happily welcomed ICC warrants against Putin, and stands by those warrants to this day.

International rules based order mandates consistency in law and the application of law—for opponents & allies alike. That's how justice is supposed to work.

BREAKING: ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan announces he is seeking arrest warrants for Hamas leadership Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif, & Ismail Haniyeh, and Israeli leadership PM Benjamin Netanyahu & Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

Both parties are charged with multiple specific war crimes. Both parties must stand trial. No one is above the law as this is how we protect international rules based order. Posting a detailed analysis soon.

In 2022 SCOTUS ruled 6-3 that public school teachers & other staff can lead students in prayer.

Now Louisiana will require all schools that receive public funding to display the Ten Commandments, including colleges and universities.

If it’s prayer these guys want, if you’re a public school teacher who wants to learn the Islamic call to prayer, i.e. the Adhaan, to teach your students, let me know.🙃
