UN voted on advancing statehood for Palestine and it is deeply telling how isolated the USA has become. Only 8 nations voted against Palestinian UN membership: Argentina, Hungary, Czech, Papay New Guinea, Micronesia, Nairu, Palau, Israel, USA
•3 are tiny island states completely dependent on US economy to survive
•2 are led by right wing extremist Trumpy figures
•2 are Israel & USA
Several of USA’s allies voted for Palestinian statehood contrary to American pressure. USA should listen to them.

Horrific. Police in Florida kill Roger Fortson, a U.S. Airman and 23-year-old Black man in his own home. The unidentified officer is on unpaid administrative leave and has not been charged with any crimes yet.

Sr Airman Roger Fortson was at home when cops entered unannounced & shot him dead 6 times.

The cop claimed he acted in self defense when he saw Fortson holding a firearm—which Fortson legally owned. The cop is on admin leave.

How are you going to illegally break into an innocent man's home unannounced & claim self defense? Horrific injustice.

In the 24 hours since Joe Biden put conditions on arms to Israel for killing civilians—Israeli MK & Likud Official Tali Gottlieb has threatened to “collapse 10 buildings in Gaza” and Security Minister Ben Gvir said “Hamas❤️Biden.”

If you ignore a 60 year illegal military occupation, 700K illegal settlements, a two decade blockade, 7000 Palestinians indefinitely detained in Israeli prison w/o charge, 800 Palestinian children indefinitely detained in Israeli prison w/o charge & denied access to counsel or parents, & at least 240 Palestinians killed by IDF from 1/1-10/6/23—then you are not engaging in good faith

There are 600,000 children in Rafah. They have nowhere else to go. If you support an invasion of Rafah, you're saying the lives and well-being of those children don't matter.

If you saw those children as your own, opposing the invasion wouldn't be a question. If you don't see them as your own, it's because they've been dehumanized to you. Otherwise no person with a conscience would look at an innocent child, let alone 600,000 innocent children, and agree they deserve to be bombed and killed.
