@osi same question here, I assume that their is a special "fediverse user" for the blog I need to follow to receive all blog post and be able to react on it? Maybe their should be something like a "follow" button on the blog?

Da ich den Satz immer wieder lese "Welche Partei kann ich denn noch wählen wenn mir X wichtig ist?"

Ganz ehrlich, gerade in der jetzigen Zeit gilt: Das Perfekte ist des Guten größter Feind!

Ich habe meine politischen Präferenzen, aber darum soll es hier nicht gehen. Wir haben viele gute demokratische Parteien mit teils sehr unterschiedlichen Meinungen zu einzelnen Themen. Sucht euch die aus, die zu euren Vorstellungen am besten passt und geht wählen. So schwer ist das nicht 😉

Does someone knows a good management app for which can store tasks on a server (e.g. ) and support sub-tasks. Every program I tried only supported flat lists of tasks

@Billie @daniel I agree that Conversation 2 looks well maintained, I never had doubts about it.

But good point Billie, maybe I'm just looking at the wrong branch / project board regarding Conversation 3?

Is it possible to configure individual accounts on a server to only accept messages from the same server or from predefined JIDs without disabling federation completely?

I consider reactivating my server. A fresh installation, no backup I could restore. Can I reuse the domain I already used years ago for Friendica or will this create a lot of confusions, inconsistency and maybe even issues. E.g. if someone want to follow me who still has a entry in their database from the old Friendica server?

Any advice or suggestions? Probably a big risk because so many different server software could be involved (, , ,... )?

The most challenging aspect of developing the @pixelfed app is the landing/onboarding screen

The first impression and onboarding flow can make or break it

I've studied a few prominent apps, implemented a few improvements, and look forward to shipping our new onboarding experience!

@dansup @pixelfed Is there a rough timeline when the Android app will be available in the Play Store? I can install/update it manually, but without the Play Store, you miss out on a lot of Pixelfed users.

I fell in love with XMPP (again). Long time I have not been using it, but it has developed great. Gajim has become a beautiful client and I just wish more users would join. For SpaceFun, I have created a little Room, so feel free to try and join me there. Just Click on + Start Chat in Gajim and enter spacefun@conference.trashserver.net

Gajim was always my favorite xmpp client but I stopped using xmpp years ago... the screenshot looks really awesome. This makes me want to bring back my xmpp server. But is it worth it? I fear that no contacts are left. 😞
