CSS people: how is "0.125rem" better than "2px" for things like borders? Isn't the only difference that one is relative to document font size, which is probably not what you want for things like borders? (zoom already applies to px, font size is for text?)

@developit I might get flak for this, but unless it needs to scale with zoom or viewport size, I still use px for all sorts of things. The simple fact is that not everything does. If you've thoroughly tested your work across devices and browsers then why should it matter?

Apple bans internal use of ChatGPT-like tech over fear of leaks https://appleinsider.com/articles/23/05/19/apple-bans-internal-use-of-chatgpt-like-tech-over-fear-of-leaks-according-to-leaked-document I am not surprised by this approach. Otherwise, OpenAI might harvest all your data, including trade secrets. Humans take shortcuts easily without realizing risks. I am not a big fan of banning stuff, but companies don't have a choice here. Some HR also updates job contracts that tell employees not to use any AI tool for coding and increasing company legal liability as they don't know the code origin

@nixCraft not to mention, if someone learns to "write" all their code using ChatGPT, and it is suddenly no longer accessible to them, what are the chances they could continue building what they need to? Eventually, these tools will solidify their place in our workflows. But before then they need to evolve to become useful for humans, not just production speed.
