This new Dock by @jsaux? Despite some minor flaws, it might be their best product yet. It turns out to be the best :steamdeck: Steam Deck Dock on the market right now, offering HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4, VRR, and ALLM. Using it for my MBP as daily driver now, which tells you something. 👀

@boilingsteam People asking for Windows on a handheld don't know what they're wishing for. They could've disrupted the market by shipping the device with SteamOS/HoloISO and letting people install Windows if they preferred.

Hear me out: No matter what you do, no matter which tweak you try (including CU), and no matter what anyone tells you, 24 FPS is the only viable sweet spot for Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam Deck. Anything else makes no sense due to Act III. It's (still) a mess. New settings tonight!

PSA: If your :steamdeck: Steam Deck / OLED suddenly stops playing any audio, head into Desktop Mode and check if the 'Chromium' application is muted. Unmuting it will fix this issue.

FYI: If your :steamdeck: Steam Deck (OLED) isn’t powering external USB devices like an NVMe enclosure, go to the BIOS and change Advanced > USB Configuration > Dual Role Device from ‘DRD’ to ‘XHCI’.

I forgot my MacBook at home today. At work, I borrowed a laptop with Windows and man… I can’t bear this crap anymore. OEM bloatware galore; reinstalling isn’t possible right out of the box due to the lack of SSD drivers, and the trackpad is garbage… and that’s a PREMIUM model!

Anybody within the sound of this toot have any recommendations for a decent switch to go between my Xbox SX and ? I'm using the digital audio on the SX but the dock doesn't have that. I could probably stand to use the HDMI audio on the SX if I must.

I just mainly want to use the bigger screen for games like . My eyes get kind of tired of the screen after several hours.

@kaiserkiwi @SynAck You're referring to a dock with Toslink? I'm afraid there isn't any available. That being said, Toslink is a dying standard. However, you fare better with HDMI nowadays due to ARC and Linear PCM capabilities.
