The clear message I am getting from Bluesky is that black people felt unsafe on mastodon. Black Twitter was a huge part of what made it special, and it's been notably absent on mastodon. I will be sad if mastodon loses to a less-open alternative because it couldn't figure out how to be welcoming to everyone.
It's an opt-in directory of fediverse accounts based on bio hashtags, to join simply add the #fedi22 tag to your bio and follow the directions on the directory page.
I'm also building an API so @pixelfed and other projects can build discovery/profile recommendations.
It's been a while since I've streamed anything, but I've definitely been using the Mac more. Started using #HyperCard a lot more lately, as I'm finding that designing custom-made stacks really seems to help me organize my thoughts.
Hello, #YouTubers and #Twitch streamers of Fedi! Did you know there's a great way to get your videos/VODs more views on the Fediverse? It's pretty simple:
🤖 @xyzzy: Interactive text adventure that posts random scenarios.
🤖 @blackjoy: Images of black joy.
🤖 @pollbot: Random fedi polls twice a day.
🤖 @bahai: Regular quotes from the Bahá'í sacred writings.
🤖 @bahai: Digest of various Bahá'í news feeds.
