Dear European based LGBTIQ+ people.. (so basically everybody).

Today I attended an event in organized by @waag @DeGroene @gemeenteamsterdam and the Amsterdam public library called

Featured speaker this time was Euro Member of Parliament @kimvsparrentak who passionately spoke on the need for a more free Internet detached from and more focussed on and real interaction.

When confronted with her presence on X and Insta, and the lack of active presence here on the we promised to help her.

Please help us get a decent follower-base here and follow her account right now, before she even gets a chance to get more active. A follower base of more than a 1000 people will surely help her convince her party members to spend time and money on a real presence here.

Was just browsing bsky’s open feed to see how that works and within 3 clicks I was back on mstdn :blobhappy:

To be honest I find Bsky still so messy, not only the code build up but also the platform itself

My guess is that people find it ‘more easy’ compared to Mastodon for example because you’ll be signing up on their server by default

Not sure if that’s a good thing though

IMO both platforms function quite well but I like Mastodon more, less clout chasers and "one-way" accounts that only broadcast...

Not only has used fuel been stored safely for decades, it can be reprocessed into fuel for the future.

Used fuel safely stored could potentially power us for centuries, via fast breeder reactors. No more mining needed, solving the waste problem at the same time.

But you have claimed quite clearly that reactors are dangerous and create dangerous waste.

Even isotope/research reactors can have significant power and generate amounts of waste that need to be handled properly.

So your opinion on this seems to be conflicting.

It's the same tech. Enriched uranium, a moderator and neutrons flying about. Only the scale is different.

And in general anti-nuclear people are opposed to it, maybe you should be too for the sake of consistency? 😋

Hmm, window manufacturer who don't post their U-Factor and SHGC get removed from my consideration mmediately for a window replacement (both are published results on how efficient those windows are). I don't care how nice your photos look, what styles you have, but how efficient they are...

Een op de is suggereren dat fietsen onveilig is. Wat veel beter is is investeren in zoveel mogelijk infrastructuur gericht op de fiets zelf.
Bij de zuiderburen is hier te weinig van. Fluohesjes en helmen zijn dan een weinig effectieve "oplossing".

I don't throw away lamps but "burn" them in my dwellings. They give off sufficient light and provide some heat as well. Currently one CFL has been consumed, have a box full of them.
