@YorksBylines @anuckols When viewing such impacts of #climatechange I am convinced we can't reduce CO2 fast enough. Therefore I wrote a blog on how we should start a path toward stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI) yesterday.
SAI can cool the earth in 2 years and keep temperature steady even if CO2 keeps rising.

@osma @davep And the ecosysytems collapse is happening right now as well. My blog describes how SAI can cool the earth in 2 years and keep temperature steady even if CO2 keeps rising. We still need to slash CO2, but slow er and avoiding collapse

I'm grieving for Stack Exchange. It's been such a good concept. I've learned a lot there. I've enjoyed contributing. "Let's build upon each other's knowledge and find the best answers, collaboratively" is such a great premise.

Well, not anymore. "AI" has to eat everything.

We've been, or are in the process of, losing so many good things lately, for different reasons. Twitter, Reddit, GitHub, Raspberry Pi, search engines, streaming services … capitalism is enshittifying everything.

I was disappointed that I couldn't get my combat robot, Footloose, ready in time for the Robobrawl tournament last month. However, I found a plastic antweight tournament in Southern California that takes place today and will finally get a chance to put Footloose to the test. Had to modify the weapon, as there is no metal allowed here. It's a single elimination tournament, so it could be over quickly, but there are lots of bots here and it should be a fun event regardless.

Van mijn collega Ciso's hoor ik dat de klik rate minstens halveert. Van 50% naar minder dan 20. Dat kun je zien in de grafiekjes ook.
Dus dat lijkt me een prima investering dan. Natuurlijk is het aanvullend op andere maatregelen en als je op een valse phish klikt, krijg je een mini-lesje met uitleg. Die leert je dan denken als een hacker.

@helma @queen_fennec wij hebben de techniek in huis om ellende op te vegen als er wel wordt geklikt. Dat is precies waarom ik die klik rate omlaag wil. Het is een palet aan maatregelen die je inzet naar gelang de volwassenheid van je organisatie en de soort organisatie ook denk ik.
Maar het is een interessante discussie en ik leer graag alle argumentatie, want je weet nooit alles.

That uses my cpu and electricity to auction adds furthermore invades my privacy in a second way. I might not have choices because they are more powerful than me. So is certainly involved. That is how I see it at first glance. I might be wrong of course (2/2)

They use decentralized computer ads auctions based on pii. How is that not GDPR? They identify people by their browser and computer. It doesnt matter they dont directly attach it to a persons name.
If using ip addresses is GDPR pii, why not the computer? I dont see the difference?
