A fun story from my past week… I’m trying to share the positives.

I had a surgical procedure Monday and had 4 nurses involved during various steps. My 2 surgical nurses knew what POTS was and treated me so well - they gave me extra fluids. :)

My last nurse in recovery… her 16 year old daughter has . What did I do? Of course I talked to her and answered questions and was an advocate… on my surgical bed… because that’s what I do. 💜☺️

We exchanged emails 🤘🏻

My wife and I woke up to the great news that our son got into the school we wanted. It was the only one we applied to considering it’s on our doorstep and we can see from our house!

It’s a primary/middle/secondary combined school so we’ll never have to worry about applying to another school again!

We’re very happy! 😁

I’ve started testing out alternatives to #Spotify as they’re putting their prices up yet again! £20pm for Family plan now. 🙄

I’ve started with #AppleMusic as I had a 2-month free trial, but the Windows app is trash. It keeps telling me playback has stopped on another device. It wasn’t playing on another device in the first place. Also songs just randomly stops playing or starts from the beginning again. 🤦‍♂️

Might try #Tidal and #YouTubeMusic next.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Costco is one of the best places to buy cheap gender neutral clothing. And by that I mean, clothing labeled for ‘men’ that fit me perfectly and make me feel better in my own skin.

I do wonder what these electric car manufacturers think of sometimes. They give the cars random noises that I don’t associate with a car at all.

Just now there was one waiting to reverse out of a space as I was walking across the car park, but it sounded like a strange alarm so I was looking anywhere but the car. It wasn’t until I’d walked across and I saw it started reversing that it was the car making that noise.

@EighthLayer @thegamerstavern Damn straight- I know people would think it is a bit counterintuitive or something but actual engine noises should be played at low speed I think. At least for a few generations, people have a hard wired instinct to immediately turn their attention to any loud revving noise.

One of the worst things since lockdown happened is that couriers now think it’s acceptable to leave packages on a doorstep and consider that “delivered”.

I say “a doorstep” as my wife just had a notification to say a package has been delivered. It’s nowhere to be seen.

Unless you’ve handed it to me directly as I’ve opened the door, I do not consider it delivered!

Edit: I don’t blame the drivers themselves. It’s the companies who dictate how drivers are supposed to perform their duties.
