Running your own e-mail server might seem complicated and geeky but will you trust those US based megacorps managing your digital existence once Trump gets elected? Especially when you’re not an US citizen? I decided many years ago.

On the other hand, having a working email when your server is offline is not a bad thing either :blobthinking:

has always intrigued me ever since I learnt about it a decade or so ago. Back then it looked super intriguing and offering flexibility that goes even beyond Linux', but it was also much more limited in hardware support.

I recently looked it up again and it seems its development has slowed down (even more).

If anyone uses it, I'd love to hear your experience!

Dear @borgmatic ,

I run as root in systemd so I can pull /etc/ as well as /home/.

But when I borgmatic mount I want to be able to use a graphical file manager.

What is the proper way to do it?

I searched online, I experimented with a few things, and so far no luck.

Picked up Doom 64 and Quake remasters on the Nintendo Switch and enjoying them quite a bit. These classics truly stood the test of time!

...but what I really want to see is the / series get the same treatment. Fingers crossed! (Or tips how to best play them these days.)

Super excited for my new to arrive!

It will be a first new one in over a decade and a first non-ThinkPad since almost forever (not counting my employer-issued Dell).

It's a ProX 14 with a custom engraving. Thanks to @slimbook for being super patient and cooperative!

I have some pretty crazy plans with it and will turn it into a blog series … mostly so I remember what I did, when things likely go wrong :blobmelt:

I’m also open for other silent – ideally fan-less – small-factor, power efficient suggestions.

(After many many years, I’m giving up on ARM dev boards, I simply don’t have the time and energy to spare with JTAGs and UARTs etc.)

    (More or less) final version of my mod of the Keyboard.io Model 01 .

    I’m very pleased how it turned out especially with the Linear A keycaps :blobaww:

    It’s shellac so I’ll likely further improve it as time passes, but this is a very good start :blobBongo:

    I recently bought St. Marc Lessive Multi-usages on a whim, because I needed some laundry detergent and it was in the same shelf in the shop.

    After reading the label back home, it talks about cleaing all sorts of stuff ...except laundry.

    Can I use it to wash clothes, and if so how. (They are not aluminium)
