@elilla The biggest gotcha I’ve encountered so far is for accessibility but it definitely doesn’t justify how widely this technology is currently marketed and deployed. It’s more like a thin silver lining.

Recently, I moved from Spotify to Tidal to protest them signing Joe Rogan for another exclusive podcast deal.

The move went pretty well, Tidal isn’t exactly as convenient as Spotify but it was fine. Until they dropped support for their Roku app, which we use to listen to music in the living room.

Not wanting to crawl back to Spotify, I’ve now moved my family to Apple Music, until the next scandal, I suppose.

@petrescatraian I did consider finally setting up a digital online library on my RPS, but I personally don’t have enough mainstay artists that the effort would be worth it. I make heavy use of the music discovery streaming services offer and that’s not something I can emulate with free software and self-hosting at all.

How would anyone trust the products these people put worth? They aren’t working on making LLMs more accurate (spoiler alert: they can’t, by design), they’re working to make them more appealing to companies targeting unsuspecting consumers. By any means necessary.

Can’t decide whether it’s genius to come up with a fake “excuse” for something as low-stakes as changing a band name or if it’s utterly pitiful.

Tiny Airport on iOS is obviously inspired by Overcrowded: Tycoon. However, rather than a quick cash grab, it feels like a genuine hommage, even though the developer Elena Titarenko doesn’t have the same technical chops as ZeptoLabs. The main mechanic of emoji faces navigating through levels is there, but many of them will get stuck in walls and shops in a rather organic fashion, which keeps a game with few overall controls from going stale.

Without untimely video or banner ads, this game can be played entirely free, however I personally forked about $20 for two premium planes and used ad speed-ups regularly to progress to the last level in several hours of gameplay spread over a few weeks.

Not bad for what looks like a one-person labor of love in a sea of mobile video gaming churn marketed via and spouting ads unprompted.

It is really wild to me, given the advent of the internet and the amount of casual communication that has moved from spoken to text media in things like Discord, how common it has been that I am casually chatting with my friends online while literally, actively taking a shit.

To answer your initial question, it seems to me that individual fetish spread is affected by the gender identity which depends on society's idea of gender as well.
