I'm writing something about … sigh, god help me … "free speech". This is a draft I've been attacking off and on for years, and as I review my notes and citations from the last time I dug into it, I'm realizing that my "list of times somebody prominent was a deliberately obtuse, sophomoric dipshit about a serious 'free speech' issue, it's… literally just Matthew Prince running interference for Nazis over and over. Surely, at least Elon did something dumb in an identifiable cultural moment?

30 years ago today, #PGP 2.6 was released via MIT.

Up to this point, two major issues had been unresolved: The legal status of the use of RSA in PGP, and export of the software from the US to the rest of the world.

With the release of PGP 2.6, the first of these two issues was resolved.

Hot Tip for Gender-Neutral Bathrooms at : They're hard to see, but there actually IS one in every bathroom pod! if you follow the family restroom sign, there's a second sign after you pass the wall that says where it is. I spent so long looking for all the ones I'd seen on the map before I gave up and accidentally stumbled upon it!

Time to start upgrading. Fedora 39 will be supported for up to one month after the release of Fedora 41 (~6 months). Fedora 40 will be supported until a month after Fedora 42 (~12 months).
