"During a route next to Prasinos, a colonized little planet, Helena received the a order to investigate a S.O.S. sign streamed by the mothership Z9. When landing on site, she discovers that the situation was much worse than she thought."
@lashman bonus points when a game has artwork with less detail than the sega genesis, (and it's glorious 320x224, 64 colors) yet is running at 4k resolution, 32bpp for absolutely no reason and managing to run poorly on a gf4090.
"A group of thrill-seekers emerges, determined to awaken the dormant spirit within, longing for the long-lost excitement and danger of the past. Join them as they ignite the revolution."
@lashman it's unfortunate, arcade style racing in general is kinda dead, seems like everything that's not a kart racer has to have an upgrade grind, "free roam", and huge cities now
"It is an open world online racing game set on the island of O‘ahu, Hawaii. Experience the best that car culture has to offer as you compete in intense races, experience themed events, and collect hundreds of iconic cars. Enjoy the game free for five hours!"
I had red flags just looking at it as someone who does this work for a living, between the obvious visual problems and also the scale at which he apparently pumps these out, but what set it off was his insistence that he "didn't have the HDD space to do a timelapse of [his] process" when someone asked him to share his process. If it was really pixel art, taking two dozen in-progress versions of the work and then turning it into a gif isn't hard - especially in photoshop.
@Meirnon Agree. Actually, if there is a Patreon is like one of the usual peers? Should be easy to do so.
I'll have to take into account that this kind of activities are happening and be more careful about it. Once again, thank you for letting me know. My department was replace by an AI almost a month ago and this is a delicate subject for me.
@0x00string awww, stop it, i'm blushing, haha :P for real, though - i'm still just learning to draw, so it's always nice to get feedback from people :) so thank you again!
@lashman well if you post art on here chances are ill say some nice shit about it :) art is the most valuable thing our species has and i just enjoy the hell out of it
"A cozy time survival roguelite in space. You steer the shippy while the shooting happens automatically. Meet cute NPCs, solve small quests, and fight quirky enemies with satisfying weapons. A short experience for people who don't have much time but love playing (and finishing) games."
