I haven't talked about in a while, as things have become pretty busy for me. Feeling good about it in the current state as a v1.0. I'm pivoting from code over into the physical enclosure.

One thing to reflect on is that I honestly wish that I would have gone with a x86-64 mini PC over the Pi. The Pi is capable, but for the same cost, I could have went with a known working arch. and more "tried and true" variation of OS, and libraries. Bad luck with ARM leaves a bad taste

@teamtuck the problem with ARM is that is a world related to mobile computers, if you search something for desktop you find nothing or kinda

@teamtuck i chose a 5 in order to not give Intel any money as their history of destroyers of markets and competitors.

Too bad the mini pcs with AMD don't have a thunderbird port, i would have linked a modern GPU instead of the integrated one.

Intel? No thanks

@teamtuck that's the problem, AMD doesn't have a 4 core simple cpu to compete with n95 or n100 that those mini pc have

Now they are using the Zen 4c cores for less power hungry cpus, wondering the next way

    @rivoluzioneurbanamobilita vicino a Cagliari c'è una rotonda con uno stop invece del dar precedenza, data la posizione le auto escono correndo da quell'ingresso.

    È possibile mettere autovelox nei tratti dove serve velocità bassa, come scuole?

    I think @purism should offer an 8GB RAM version of Librem 5 one of my biggest gripes is RAM limitation and why I am looking at the MNT Pocket Reform device soon to be released as my “pocket laptop” I was hoping Librem 5 could possibly fulfill with the LapDock. But the 3GB RAM can become a limitation for many of my ideas, same with the #Pine64 #Pinephone but the MNT Pocket Reform has the same CPU as the Librem 5 but 8GB RAM

    Hard drive partition got corrupted after and update. Might just be easier to reinstall than to fix it. Even long term… what should we install? Fedora again or something else?

    @cjerrington Sorry hard drive? Might be the time to move to an SSD...going back in question, I think Debian with flatpaks would suffice, if you feel adventurous try :archlinux:

    After 5 years and 11 months, our company coffee machine sadly stopped working. Luckily there are still parts available for this model almost 6 years later and we were able to revive it! Talk about FTW!
