What is a little white lie you were told as a child, that you believed for too long?

I was way too old when I figured out a human couldn't actually get sucked down a drain or flushed down a toliet. I used to cling to my little brothers, and pull them out of the bath any time my Mum would pull to plug.

The most SF thing that just happened to me: I was crossing a street, someone asked how old cookie was, I said 14, she told me to look up some quack doctor for dogs so Cookie can live till 28

I love her very much but 14 more years?! (Also, what?)

I just want her to be happy and healthy for a year or more or whatever more she’s got. I’ve decided when we say goodbye to her, she’s going to have as many hard boiled eggs as she wants. (Her fave food since she was 8 weeks old)

In between things I am working on a little wiki where I want to 'collect' all setup documentation for #Fediverse software (and some custom things :ed_grin: )

I've repurposed a testing domain and so far added only Mastodon and Pixelfed :blobcatgiggle: :fediverse:

Tried out BookStack, WriteFreely and WikiJS but i've gone with WikiJS

Sources will be all provided ofc but I hope it's okay with all devs 😇
