It's going to be one-hundred-and-eff-you-see-kay degrees today and my neighbor is having a new roof put on. Mercy. I'd rant about it, except half these guys are wearing hoodies. They've obviously figured out how to manage the heat better than I have.

3.23.4 has been published in beta.

Fixed:

  • Holes in timelines due to a cache bug
  • Fix tags issue with RTL and the markdown format
  • Scrollable bio when editing profiles
  • Crash when adding a user into a list

Surely the last release in beta.

So tired of people telling me the product needs AI. Don't tell me the product needs AI, tell me your goals for the product. Tell me your measurable outcomes for successfully completing those goals. Don't look so disappointed when I tell you AI won't help you reach your stated goals.

Don't ever tell me "we need AI" unless your end goal is "to have AI."

If you feel like you're having a bad day, just be aware that a woman mowing her lawn was recently attacked by a snake that FELL OUT OF THE SKY.

It wrapped around her arm and broke her glasses trying to bite her face.

And then A HAWK swooped down and clawed the living daylights out of the woman with its talons trying to get back the snake it had dropped.

Just in case, you know, she wasn't already a hundred percent certain that she had pissed off the universe.

@timbray No internal dialogue, and the first time this issue ever came up was in conversation with co-workers talking about how weird it would be to NOT have an internal dialogue. They were as shocked that I didn't have one as I was they they did.

"Well what is it like in your head without one?" they asked.

"Quiet, I suppose." said I.

I forgot to make my overnight oats last night, so this morning I've smashed all the ingredients together in a bowl and am working my way through it without the benefit of roughly 12 hours of hydration. It's like chewing chunky wood pulp. If "overnight oats" is the cute little name for the proper meal, I'm calling this version "oats of regret."

I’ve been kicking butt and taking names for awhile now and I’m not sure what to do with all these names. Do I need to get a filing cabinet? Should I be storing them alphabetically or by date they were taken? Kind of a hassle really.
