, Day 28 = , Day 2: Rode my KMX recumbent trike to (2x 4km) and rode each of the following bikes at least once through the 750m test course: A with direct steering 🤩, a (both with a https://www.3x3.bike/ hub gearbox, once manual and once electric), a Wolf&Wolf SWB and "Big Brompty", a nice, unique 24" conversion of a : https://www.velomobilforum.de/forum/index.php?threads/verkaufe-24-zoll-brompton-umbau-weltweit-einzigartig-spezi-messepreis-1800-00-eur.73326/

But in the end I didn't buy it: It's too high above ground for me.

An einer Ampel wartend sprach mich ein Radfahrer auf meine Positionslichter an. Daraus entwickelte sich ein Gespräch, so dass wir uns, die letzten Kilometer nebeneinander fahrend, weiter unterhalten haben.
Das war ein schönes Erlebnis.

@lerk @nrth3rnlb: Ich bin gestern mein Zweitrad (Mr. ) bei meiner Bromptonwerkstatt abholen gewesen. Und zwar mit meinem Daily-Driver-Pedelec-Brompton und dem dran.

Kurz nachdem ich ankam, kam ein junger Mechaniker raus und ruft beim Anblick des Gespanns sofort zurück in die Werkstatt: "Stefan! Stefan! Ein mit Anhänger!"

Amüsant daran: Ich habe beide Bromptons und den Anhänger dort gekauft. Aber wohl vor der Zeit des jungen Mechanikers. 😇

A Tex Yoda II 60% keyboard with a red thumbstick (well-known from ThinkPads) and an orange-on-medium-and-dark-grey Cherry profile keycap set sitting on a white desk. @ascentale A8: I recently discovered and enjoyed 's comic strips at https://theepicevents.com/ which have occasional bicycle content. I've attached four of them as the bicycle related content only starts around page 4 of his blog. Actually the "Copenhagen Cycling Signals" strip was how I stumbled upon his comic strips.

I also remember the already mentioned and I do follow @Bikeyface, too.

A single-page comic stop labeled "Cycling in Bath, England". You see a long row of yellow-ish residential houses with a street in front. The street is full of cars and it looks more like a pile-up than just a traffic jam. At the end of the pile-up there's a place-name sign saying "Bath" and a car and a blonde cyclist are approaching it. The car driver shouts to the cyclist "You're blocking all the traffic!!!". The cyclist just has a question mark above his head.
A 12-panel comic strip labeled "Copenhagen Cycling Signals", starting with drawings of more obvious and common hand signs like "turning right", "turning left" or "slowing down", (nearly) always showing a cyclist with a red shirt, blue trousers and grey helmet from the front. Just discovered a new compact(-ish) : The limited MONoPOLE : https://monopole.cc/en/product/no-o1

Its layout reminds me a bit of the , but especially their shopping front rack—which fits two common (Swiss?) shopping bags left and right of the frame's main tube—is something I haven't seen before with a front-top-loader. Also nice: belt steering.

Despite being built in France, the so far is only available in .

Did some grocery shopping with the on the way back from the server room. Took my Brompton inside as usual. But I wasn't the only one who took a bike inside. A young girl was pushing a through the small supermarket. And a lot of people were wearing their inside. Counted at least four persons. Outside were at least a dozen bikes, though.

So remember: Always take your bicycle helmet inside when doing errands to show that you're shopping with a bicycle.

@mntmn: Is there an overview over all alternativ available? Something like a table showing amount of RAM, cores, speed/frequency and if the OS needs to be reinstalled or can be kept… I'm a bit lost with all the offered processor modules on https://shop.mntre.com/t/hardware/reform, especially with which require a different OS to be installed. (It's only obvious for the FPGA one and the i.MX8MPlus. It's unclear to me for the LS1028A and CM4 ones.)

Dug my I out of the mothballs today. Haven't ridden it for quite some years (but the Brompton and the KMX trike instead). It survived standing in the garage quite well. Just had to inflate the tires again.

Nevertheless will replace the tubes and brittle tires soonish. Also the Maguras and front suspension need some maintenance. And the chain might need some oil, too.

And it seems as with cycling in general: You don't unlearn to ride a recumbent bicycle. 😎

Klicke mich grade durch https://cargobike.guide/brand/ — am besten gefallen mir kompakte Frontlader im Stile von , , , oder . Aber auch das , das dort gar nicht aufgelistet ist.

Dabei habe ich gar nicht vor, ein anzuschaffen: Das mit Fronttasche, Gepäckträger und meinem reicht mir eigentlich schon. Und ich habe auch schon zähl 5 Velos (3× Liegevelo, 2× Brompton) und 2 Veloanhänger.

Sind wohl Nachwirkungen der … 🤪
