The problem with exploring a black hole is that it's a one-way trip. Good news: NASA has created a new simulation that takes you through a black hole's event horizon without all that messy spaghettification. The simulation was made using a supercomputer and provides two experiences. One is where an astronaut flies close to the black hole but then returns to space, and the other is a second, one-way journey directly across the event horizon boundary.

I was laid off from my previous role due to a slow burn company strategy of reducing expenses to improve margin and reach profitability. I survived the first layoff of 25%, and then multiple quarters after that, but eventually, the day after completing my largest project, my role was eliminated due to a change in strategic direction.

I am now seeking a bioinformatics or data science role in the life sciences / biotech.
