Pretty tempting to get #ACValhalla for 37.80 MYR. As far as recent #AssassinsCreed#games go, I didn't finish #ACOrigins which isn't surprising cos I got distracted with many other games I have that I also haven't finished. #ACOdyssey, at first I played the male character and I thought meh I didn't like his accent lol and his character had too much testosterone (or what I describe as he's too ooga booga) so I gave it up - until long later I tried playing the female character instead and I loved her character better and the game itself was actually decent and fun so I almost completed it.
I was interested in the game before bcos a #Vikings setting seems interesting to explore but bcos it's set in the UK, I think, I've to say the world/landscape itself seems pretty dull compared to something like Greece in Odyssey (again, not sure about Egypt in Origins since I've only played it like 10 mins).
@irfan the game is quite boring, and you can play as a woman, and there is a quest where you have to seduce your brother’s wife, which also works as a woman. A lot of it is just filler, but not a bad way to see a lot of boats and water and villages
The big reveal for one of the games I've been working on for a little while is happening in about 40 minutes. Excited to see it and what the reaction is going to be. (Yeah, I haven't seen the trailer internally myself yet.) You can find that happening over here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vovkzbtYBC8
@Artemis201 An example of the weird disconnect I see when people talk about set boosters is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jn4f9zhH5G0 . Even though he eventually goes on to give the product an A-, almost all of the descriptions of set boosters are framed in a negative light.
@RethinkJeff yeah. From what I understand, the set boosters were better in terms of expected value. So anyone buying boxes just to get cards bought the set boosters.
#OnThisDay, April 18, 1775, express rider Paul Revere was tasked with traveling from Boston to Lexington, Massachusetts to alert the colonial militia about marching British troops (depicted in Assassin’s Creed III, 2012)
A very derivative game with an interesting story that doesn't really get to exercise its full potential due to being rushed (a common theme with AC, but this one is particularly glaring).
I feel like smaller games in these franchises really should divert some of the work that goes into the VAST amounts of side content back into providing a tighter main experience.
Also, it didn't let me take a screencap of any end scenes so...
Some screenshots I took while playing Assasin's Creed Origins (on Playstation 4).
I took loads of shots, so may share more later. Still need to finish the game some day...
I finally finished #AssassinsCreed 2 from the Ezio Collection on the #NintendoSwitch. 45h clocked — I didn’t realise it was quite so big when I started! For a game I mainly play for half an hour before bed each night…it took me a while. Really good though, much improved from the first game.
Need a palate cleanser next. Not sure if and when I’ll go back for Brotherhood/Revelations, considering the commitment required. #ShareYourGames#MstdnGames
