My mind has been on flowers lately, awaiting the coming of Spring. One of my favorites (I say that all the time 😎) but I can't name just one. This is a lovely Magnolia blossom from last spring.
Swamp Sparrows are aptly named. They spend most of their time foraging in the rushes and grasses of a wetlands area, near standing water. They migrate to our area from northern US and Canada. They can be difficult to find early in their overwintering season, but come out more as winter progresses. Had a chance to capture this one as it was popping up from feeding on cattail.
